Delete your SikaKasa account and data
SikaKasa (TechNation Ltd) operates the SikaKasa website and mobile apps. This page explains how to delete your SikaKasa account and what happens to your data, for Google Play and other store requirements.
How to delete your account
1. In the SikaKasa mobile app (account owners)
Only the account owner can delete the account. Team members (staff) cannot delete the owner account from the app.
- Open the SikaKasa app and sign in as the account owner.
- Go to Profile or Settings.
- Choose Delete account and confirm.
This deactivates your account immediately so you can no longer sign in, and signs you out of active app sessions.
2. On the web
There is currently no self-serve “delete account” control in the SikaKasa web app settings. To delete from the web, use the email request below.
3. By email (fallback for app and web)
- Email support@sikakasa.com from the email address on your SikaKasa account.
- Use a subject such as “Delete my SikaKasa account” and include the account email (and business name if you have more than one).
We aim to respond as soon as possible.
What we delete
When you delete via the mobile app (or when support completes a deletion request that deactivates the account):
- Sign-in access — your account is deactivated and you can no longer sign in on web or mobile.
- Active app/API sessions — refresh tokens for your account are revoked.
When you ask support for fuller personal-data deletion, we also remove or de-identify personal account details as described in our Privacy Policy, except where we must keep records (see below).
What we keep and for how long
- Business and financial records tied to the account — including businesses, invoices, estimates, bills, expenses, customers, products, vendors, payments, and related records — are not removed by the in-app deactivation. They remain in our systems.
- A deactivated user record may remain (so the account stays closed and cannot be reused incorrectly) until any further deletion or de-identification is completed.
- We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes in our Privacy Policy, including legal and tax obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our agreements. We do not publish a single fixed retention period in product code; retention follows applicable law and that policy.
For more detail, see our Privacy Policy.
